Sirk TV Comic Review: CANTO IN THE CITY OF GIANTS #2 [IDW]
The aspect of a quest is beholden on the truth that the players see before them. With Canto, he just wants to complete his mission though forgets the dark heart that beats inside him. In Issue 2 of "Canto In The City Of GIants", he finds himself in a maze where solving it is not the final destination, it simply opens more questions. Canto and his fellow soldiers have a baseline humor that beguiles the obvious while still being resolute in their focus. They will be betrayed but it is all just a matter of how much they are taken for a ride. There are those they need to protect but they also need to protect their own sanity. This issue plays like a similar gauntlet between two worlds but likely the cooler head (which is Canto's) will prevail. B
