In making its characters so interdependent on their ideas of promotion but also of the fact that their lives may seem unique or perhaps unimportant, the latest episode (#9) of the 2nd season of "Star Trek: Lower Decks" entitled "Dej Wuj" expands the view of the universe giving the episode a much bigger scope while creating odes to both "The Wrath Of Khan" and in a smaller way "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier."

The aspect of hybrid shows that both straddle genre and comedy are tricky on network television, not because of standards but because of tone, budgets and approach. "Ghosts" in its pilot suffers from this to a point but many shows simply have become an interesting exercise (see "Brain Dead").

The texture of getting what you wish for is a parable in irony. The path depends on the circumstance of course but, in the world of horror, metaphor and the macabre go hand in hand. With Episode 3 of its 3rd Season, "Creepshow" moves in the idea of both art as life but also life becoming art in a way through its manifestation of nature.

Coming back to the place where it all began but making it make sense to do so with the stakes requires a bit of movement while not losing the angle overall. It is a tall order...and even more tricky for a show like "CSI". Finally coming back home to its Vegas roots with "CSI: Vegas" always required a return to arms of a certain person.

The essence of survival permeates the structure of "Day Two", the 2nd episode of the series "La Brea" on NBC. While the final note of Episode 1 points to the structure of the time and space of what is going on, the thrust of the show is still mired in the aspect of setting up the relationships while highlighting both the underpinnings of weakness and strength within certain cabals of survivors.

The IP of The Muppets is tricky because doing anything original tends to imbalance with the fact that the original performers and creators are gone so it becomes a new age interpretation of the characters. This is fine as all IP at times needs to transform.
