Instead of creating a more grounded structure, the film realizes itself more with abstract imagery and flashbacks per se with some CG enhancements (whose indications are unclear at best).

In "The Swarm", hailing from France, there is a sense of loss and longing in the character of Valerie (played Suliane Brahim) who is growing locusts to create flour. But like anything...too much becomes overwhelming.

The rules of a comic book movie rule in the eyes of the beholder. Writer/Director James Gunn got to go in a different grid making "The Suicide Squad" but it feels more like his indie movies at times than "Guardians Of The Galaxy".

The story is based on the lore of anonymous writer but that basis might have indicated jealousy, greed or nepotism criticism in a certain way on the part of the writer who may have been an unreliable narrator.

"Jungle Cruise" is a fun ride but not really anything new. Its plot points can be pulled almost directly from "The Mummy" with modern inclusion standards updating (which again is understandable).

Suffice to say, "Old" has an idea of the metaphorical story it wants to tell while reflecting a real world ideal of what is for the greater good.

But for general entertainment of the action bent with a genre twist, "Blood Red Sky" does deliver but not overtly beyond its intended means.

With "Kandisha" it is a mix of many different elements both with textures of Islam but also mythology. In a modern context it is intriguing because this mythology in general talks about a female almost centaur coming to take the lives of the men because of their transgressions.

Here Lebron James is the new Michael Jordan and he holds up pretty well. No one expects him to do Shakespeare but he delivers as he needs to, maintains his focus of play but also seems to have a little fun.
